چکیده
We examine the problem of estimating a reverse motion vector eld from a given forward motion vector eld and its motion-compensated residual. This problem has practical importance when providing reverse-play function-ality in compressed video environments, where video data is stored, processed, and transported in compressed form. We present a family of algorithms that trade oo motion vector accuracy for computational eeciency. Experimental results demonstrate the performance of these algorithms.

Variation of Force Amplitude and its Effects on Muscle Fatigue by
Current trends in industry are leaning towards specialized production systems and sedentary computer work tasks that are associated with low and less varying mechanical exposures. It has been suggested that physical variation is an effective intervention to reduce local fatigue and potentially musculoskeletal disorders. However, little is known in how the differences between physical variation ...
متن کاملPrevention of mammary tumors with a chimeric HER-2 B-cell epitope peptide vaccine.
Synthetic peptide vaccines targeting B-cell epitopes of the extracellular domain of the HER-2 oncoprotein were evaluated for their capacity to elicit HER-2-specific antibodies with antiproliferative activity. Several HER-2 B-cell epitopes were identified by computer-aided analysis of protein antigenicity, and selected B-cell epitopes were synthesized colinearly with a promiscuous T-helper epito...

متن کاملIdentification of Time-Variant Systems Using Wavelet Analysis of Force and Acceleration Response Signals
The identification of dynamic parameters is of prime importance in vibration analysis. A number of different time and frequency domain methods have been developed for vibration analysis of time-invariant systems. However, many engineering systems exhibit timevariant behavior. This paper presents a simulation example of a time-variant approach used for parameter identification in a simple vibrat...
